これに伴い、世界各地の海の現状を共に発信し、海の美しさや課題を可視化するためのパートナー制度「コンバサダー(オフィシャルフォトパートナー)」の募集を全世界で開始いたします。
■「コンバサダー」募集の背景：海を「知る」ことから再生が始まる
現在、世界中の海では「磯焼け（海の砂漠化）」や気候変動による生態系の変化が急速に進んでいます。しかし、その実態は厚い水面の下に隠れており、私たちの日常からは見えにくいのが現状です。幸海ヒーローズは、海を再生するためには、まず「今の海の姿」を多くの人が知ることが不可欠であると考えています。一方で、豊かな生態系によって生物にとっても人間の暮らしにもポジティブな影響を与えている地域もあります。その違いはなんなのか。果たして海は元気なのか、疲れきってしまっているのか。
そこで、世界各地のダイバー、写真家、研究者、そして海を愛する法人・団体の皆様と手を携え、海底のリアルな画像や海中生物の多様性の“今”を共有・発信するプラットフォームを構築します。

提供いただいた画像は「コンバサダー公式提供画像」として、幸海ヒーローズのプレス活動、啓発活動、教育プログラム等で活用させていただき、提供元をクレジットとして明記いたします。

Designing the Future of Our Oceans: Sachiumi Heroes Launches Global Press Kit and “Kombassador” (Official Photo Partner) Recruitment

Sachiumi Heroes—a collective redefining Kelp (known as “Kombu” in Japanese) as a multi-tool to save the planet—is proud to announce the launch of our official Press Kit for media and stakeholders.
In tandem with this launch, we are opening global recruitment for our “Kombassador” (Official Photo Partner) program. We are looking for partners to help us visualize the current state of the world’s oceans, sharing both their breathtaking beauty and the urgent challenges they face.
■ The Vision: Regeneration Starts with “Knowing” the Ocean
Today, oceans worldwide are experiencing “Isoyake” (sea desertification) and rapid ecosystem shifts due to climate change. However, because these realities remain hidden beneath the surface, they are often invisible to our daily lives.
At Sachiumi Heroes, we believe that to regenerate the ocean, people must first “see” it. Is the ocean thriving, or is it exhausted? What are the differences between healthy ecosystems and those in decline?
To answer these questions, we are building a platform to share the “now” of the seafloor and marine biodiversity. We invite divers, photographers, researchers, and ocean-loving organizations from around the globe to join us in making the invisible, visible.
■ Recruitment Overview: Kombassador (Official Photo Partner)
Provided imagery will be designated as “Official Kombassador Content” and utilized in Sachiumi Heroes’ press releases, awareness campaigns, and educational programs, with full credit provided to the contributor.
• Who we are looking for: Individuals (divers, photographers, etc.), corporations, research institutes, and environmental organizations (all nationalities and regions welcome).
• Target Imagery:
• Submarine and seafloor conditions worldwide (from pristine landscapes to “Isoyake” deserts and plastic pollution).
• Records of diverse marine species.
• Scenes from local ocean conservation activities.
• Role: As an official partner, you will provide visual materials and collaborate on spreading information to drive ocean regeneration.

■ What is a “Kombassador”?
Kombu (Kelp) + Ambassador = Kombassador
In Japanese, the word for kelp is “Kombu.” We coined the term Kombassador to represent a partnership of those who unite under the mission of passing a healthy, vibrant ocean to the next generation. As a “Hero of the Sea,” each Kombassador plays a vital role in communicating the potential of kelp and the reality of oceanic challenges to society.
